It was pure coincidence, I guess my creativity was bursting that day when I went to look for fabric for my dining room curtains (which by the way remain undone) and I found this great looking piece of fabric. I knew I had to get it and do something with it but I was not quite sure what. Then I remembered that it would match an outfit that I had, and for which I had not been able to find a handbag. So I took it home and started creating and experimenting until I was satisfied. The rest of the story is still in the making.
Also, I would not be doing this if it wasn't for my sister Joanne. She really is full of wonderful and fun ideas, and her tenacity has been a real inspiration and motivation to me. Love you Jojo!!!
As for the "Ili Bag" name, well I have to give credit to my good friends Jean, Ashley, Rhonda, Robbie and Karen, who in a collaborated effort thought of the perfect name. Thanks guys!
